Day & Zimmermann is actively accepting applications for entry level Project Controls Analysts to be a part of our Project Controls Training Program.
Project Controls Analysts in the program can expect to train in person, in our Lancaster, PA Operation Center and travel 50% of the time for job site rotational assignments within the U.S.
Job site rotational assignments include uplifts in pay up to 15%.
Project Controls Training Program positions are NOT eligible for travel pay or per diem, so ideal candidates will live local to Lancaster, PA.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Exposure to all aspects of cost control (development of craft/staff rates, study end users procedures, perform exercises in SAP, and cost report development). Also, exposure to all proprietary software (PC Lite, D&Z Estimator, Win Estimator, and Web Tool Box).
  • Once training is complete; support wbs development, budget creation, and other aspects in SAP.
  • Support the development of Project Status Reports, field site Load Boards and Web Tool Box cost reports.
  • Assist with the execution of financial management, that includes budgets, tracking invoice milestones (as needed), reviewing timesheets, and earn value analysis, monitoring/forecasting cost.
  • Support project and project definition close-out.
  • Exposure to scheduling basics to assist efforts for in-house projects and field activities.
What You Need To Bring To The Table:
  • High school diploma required, some college or post-secondary education preferred
  • Entry level up to three years experience in related project controls assignments
  • Computer proficiency certifications a plus or equivalent education
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $63,840.00- $68,640.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
